A Sanctuary for Somatic Tools, Gentle Challenges, and Nervous System Ease
If you’ve been craving calm, clarity, or just a more doable way to get through your days, you’re in the right place. Peace in the Now offers simple, somatic tools — which is really just a down‑to‑earth way of saying “helping your body relax so your mind can stop spiraling.”
Somatic work isn’t mystical or complicated. It’s the science‑backed stuff your nervous system actually responds to: breath, grounding, gentle movement, and tiny shifts that help your body stop living in “brace for impact” mode. No woo. No fluff. No spiritual acrobatics. Just practical tools that help real humans feel better.
My offerings meet you exactly where you are — one‑minute grounding card decks, gentle walking and sleep challenges, and restorative retreats when you need a deeper reset.
Everything here is slow, grounding, and intentionally crafted for women navigating stress, overwhelm, and emotional fatigue. No pressure, no performance — just practices that help you breathe, soften, and come home to yourself.
Every experience is designed to feel like a sanctuary — a place where your body can finally exhale without rush.

“I avoided yoga for years because everything hurt. Arthritis made me feel like movement just wasn’t for me. After one gentle 1:1 Yin Yoga session with Tanya, something shifted. I felt supported, safe, and actually able to move without fear. Now I attend multiple classes each week — and I’ve even started exploring Vinyasa Foundations. I never thought this would be possible for me.” — Valerie S.

"Tanya’s classes are truly something special. She has such a beautiful way of keeping the space professional while still feeling deeply relatable. She’s able to calm and soothe my nervous system in a way that feels safe and grounding.
I genuinely enjoy her energy and feel completely comfortable being guided by her. There’s a quiet confidence and warmth in the way she teaches that makes it easy to fully settle in and let go.
I also love that her classes are online! It makes it so accessible and easy to integrate into my day-to-day life." - Sara A.
For Women Veterans: As a veteran myself, I understand how service can shape the body — the tension we carry, the alertness we can’t turn off, the exhaustion we learn to ignore. My workshops offer a gentle space to reconnect, release, and rebuild trust with your body. You’re welcome here. Thank you for your service.

Pause
It’s the breath that softens overwhelm, the stillness that turns reaction into reflection. A pause isn’t empty—it’s full of clarity, compassion, and quiet strength. It’s where we remember who we are, before the world rushes in.

Meet Tanya, Our Founder
Hi, I’m Tanya — a trauma‑informed creator and somatic wellness guide. I design practical tools that help women find rest, safety, and steadiness in their nervous systems. I didn’t set out to build a business; I set out to build a place I needed myself — somewhere to breathe, reset, and move through life at a pace that felt human.
That intention has shaped everything I create: somatic card decks, emotional‑regulation challenges, grounding practices, and simple tools that help you come back to yourself on the days you feel stretched thin. My signature decks, SomaShuffle™ and Zen‑Ish™, were built to make nervous‑system support easy and accessible. My guided challenges offer small, doable daily practices that create real change without overwhelm.
As a veteran, designer, and someone who has lived through both structure and softness, I’ve learned that emotional wellness isn’t optional — it’s essential. Everything I make comes from that understanding. Whether it’s a deck, a challenge, or an audio practice, each one is created to help you pause, soften, and start again.
I still lead restorative sessions and yoga nidra at my women’s retreats, but these offerings now support the deeper work I focus on: helping women reconnect with their bodies, regulate their stress responses, and feel safe inside themselves.
Every tool and every experience is crafted with intention and clarity — because meaningful change often begins in the smallest, simplest moments.

Designer, Developer Instructor and Founder
I couldn’t have built any of this without God—every breath, every idea, every gentle ritual was guided by something far greater than me. I was led here with purpose, and I believe you were too. If you’ve found Peace in the Now, it’s not by accident—it’s an invitation.
From Overwhelm to Clarity
A pause clears the fog. One breath, one beat—and the next step becomes visible. Not rushed. Not reactive. Just right.
From Conflict to Compassion
In the heat of tension, pause makes space. It softens the edges, invites perspective, and reminds us to listen with grace.
From Joy to Depth
Even joy needs stillness. A pause lets us soak it in, reflect, and carry it forward with gratitude.
From Chaos to Rest
At the beginning and end of the day, pause is the doorway to a great beginning and restful sleep. It calms the nervous system and welcomes the body home.

Peace in the Now invites you to embrace the quiet beauty of intentional living—where each breath, each ritual, and each movement is designed to restore your rhythm. Let’s begin a journey of rest, reflection, and emotional renewal together.
